Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, picking, putting away, consolidating, stacking, and staging products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. This role requires adherence to specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments and record indirect time in a timely manner.
Responsibilities

Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments and record indirect time in a timely manner.
Adhere to all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all policies, customer requirements, and federal/state/local regulations.
Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
Inspect each pallet and/or case for proper quantities, items, brands, and lot codes (as applicable), check for damages, and follow any special instructions on the Work Assignment Form and/or additional documentation.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all learnings.
Perform other forklift responsibilities when case pick work is completed.
Additional job duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating a forklift and meeting medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
Experience in large logistics/distribution centers.
Familiarity with RF systems in the logistics environment.
Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.

Work Environment
This position offers both 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm, M-F) and 2nd shift (4pm - 12:30am, M-F) opportunities. The warehouse environment requires the use of forklifts and other power equipment, and involves medium level physical exertion, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Safety and adherence to operational procedures are paramount in this role.

This is a Contract position based out of West Jefferson, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
