Solar Construction Field Manager**

**Job Description**

The goal of the Construction Superintendent is to facilitate a positive experience for the clients. The Superintendent ensures that products and installations exceed customer expectations and are of the highest quality possible. This role is crucial in developing customer loyalty by optimizing products to meet customer needs and providing excellent technical onsite support services.

**Responsibilities**

+ Provide technical support for customers worldwide, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience and offering product and systems expertise to maximize customer value.

+ Translate and interpret wiring and construction schematics to support installation, including civil, structural, and electrical aspects.

+ Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company standards, ensuring no employee or subcontractor operations proceed without proper safety compliance.

+ Conduct, document, and report safety meetings.

+ Assist in preplanning of projects, including plan reviews and comments, manpower allocation, project sequencing, material takeoffs, material requisitions, and subcontractor scope reviews.

+ Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project managers, project engineers, and clients.

+ Work with Project Management to develop accurate construction schedule forecasts and create daily reports to track construction progress, material deliveries, installation issues, tool issues, and other site activities.

+ Collaborate directly and in conjunction with subcontractors, temporary labor, electricians, and employees on planning, scheduling of construction, and quality control applications.

+ Train and support a large-scale workforce, including upwards of 300 personnel plus subcontractors.

+ Provide guidance and technical support on issues concerning electrical and building components/applications.

+ Set up and train clients on tool maintenance and servicing.

**Essential Skills**

+ 5 years of construction experience in a leadership role.

+ Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.

+ Proficiency with heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach forklifts, bobcats, and scissor lifts.

+ Experience with basic building equipment.

+ Computer literate.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in solar construction.

+ Background in construction management, site supervision, or related fields.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
