In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt, handling, movement, and documentation of raw materials, Work-in-Process (WIP), and Finished Goods at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility for our biotech client. The role involves both physical and system-based inventory responsibilities within a cGMP-compliant environment. You will be expected to work in accordance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards, all within a dynamic, team-oriented workplace.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
Receive, verify, and document incoming materials and shipments.
Transport and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area aligned with safety guidelines.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to handle materials safely.
Prepare, package, and ship outgoing materials accurately.
Enter accurate data for inventory transactions, including receipts, movement, and shipments.
Conduct routine cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Support compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
Assist with various warehouse tasks as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
1-3 years of warehouse and inventory experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment required.
Prior experience in FDA-regulated industries is strongly preferred.
Background in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors is a plus.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks such as prolonged standing and manual handling.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certification or training in forklift operation preferred.
Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures.
