Job Function
Reporting into the Global Director of Supply Chain , the Supply Chain Manager will be based out of Cleveland, Ohio and will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace environment consistent with the values and mission outlined by the corporation.
Responsibilities
- Manages daily activities of the raw material and production planning process.
- Manage and supervise the planners and supply chain analysts.
- Works with site leads to develop capacity plans based on the demand forecast, customer orders, current inventory, and stock strategies.
- Manage and lead the pre-S&OP process, including coordination of the monthly raw material planning, demand planning and capacity review meetings.
- Assemble inventory forecasts (in conjunction with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial) to create an accurate working capital forecast.
- Manage inventory against targets and analyze changes to inventory month to month. Lead the monthly slow moving and aged inventory reduction processes.
- Manage production planning related master data in the supply chain systems, including stock strategies, safety stock targets, and capacity parameters working in conjunction with Demand Managers, Production Managers and Schedulers.
- Follow globally developed standard supply chain work processes and best practices.
- Participate in Supply Chain improvements projects within the Americas.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Manager Responsibilities
- Manage, guide, and motivate the team to achieve stated business goals and objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations to maximize your team's effectiveness (SMART goals, good communication, reviews, training, and development).
- Participate with HR in other processes related to your team such as selection, promotion, or compensation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated strong communication and leadership skills and exercise good judgment.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Proficient with MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Thorough knowledge IFS ERP System
