An Executive in the retail industry is responsible for driving the strategy and operations of a retail business. Depending on the organization, specific industry certifications such as Certified Retail Executive (CRX) or Certified Retail Management Professional (CRMP) may be required or preferred. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is typically required, with many executives also holding an MBA or another relevant postgraduate degree.
