Inventory Jobs in Ontario
In the retail industry, an Inventory Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and organizing the stockpile of products. Essentially, they are responsible for maintaining the balance between surplus and shortage by tracking inventory levels, orders, sales, and deliveries. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Some of the certifications that can add value to their profile include Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Prior to becoming an Inventory, a person may have roles such as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or a Purchase Officer. These roles provide the necessary experience with inventory systems and procedures, preparing them for the more comprehensive role of an Inventory.
