Certifications like Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) may prove beneficial. Prior to becoming a Buyer, individuals may have roles such as Purchasing Assistant, Merchandising Assistant, or Junior Buyer.
